August 8, 2010 - Hopewell Fire called for a brush fire on Rt. 5 & 20.  Engine 1511, Brush Truck 1551, and 1502 responded to the scene.  Command reported a small brush fire behind the house.  Fire was extinguished using the Brush Truck. 
 

August 8, 2010 - The Hopewell and Seneca Castle (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this morning to County Road # 47 for a reported shed on fire that was next to the house. Further updates from dispatch reported the shed was attached to the structure.

Command went on location and reported a working fire, with extension to the house.  The fire was called under control in approximately 15 minutes.  Command requested RG&E and the Red Cross to respond to the scene.  Canandaigua and Stanley provided stand-by coverage.

 
August 7, 2010 - Hopewell Fire Department called for reported "crop duster" down in a corn field on Algerine Street.  1502, 1512, 1551, Car 2, and Car 97 all reported to the scene.  Ontario County Sheriffs Department and Canandaigua Ambulance also dispatch to the scene.  1502 took command along with Car 97.  Shortly after, it was reported the pilot was out of the wreckage and walking up to the road.  1551 assisted in the field while the investigations was going on.  The pilot reported a "soft" landing resulting in minimal damage to the aircraft.  No injures were reported.  Hopewell units remained on scene about 45 minutes and were released by the OCSD.  
 
July 28, 2010 - Hopewell Fire Department called by Seneca Castle to stand-by on Hopewell's floor while Seneca Castle working a Barn Fire with Stanley on Old Mill Road.

20 Week Club Conclusion 2010

Every year, the Hopewell Fire Department holds the 20 Week Club drawings. There are one hundred (100) tickets sold for a $20 each. Every week for twenty (20) weeks, there is a drawing for $25.

On the fourth week, a $25 "early bird" drawing is held in addition to the weekly drawing. Only tickets that are paid in full are eligible for this drawing.

After the twenty (20) weekly drawings, there are additional Grand Prize drawings of $250, $150, and $100. All fully paid tickets are eligible.

Tickets are on sale now, and are limited to one hundred (100) entries.
